[First Flame]: [Locked from Hostiles]
So... I just talk in to this?
Yeah, talk away.
... alright. *achem* This is Brigadier General Roy Mustang, requesting information and assistance. My... partner and I are currently in the city of Tetha and looking for anyone who may be from the Amestris State Military. We're also kind of covered in muck...
This guy got dropped in the Putrid Ruins of all places. Talk about unlucky! *laughs*
You'd do well to shut up, Havoc. You can laugh when I'm clean again.
Yeah, yeah yeah. By the way, don't look down, chief.
What? Why no-... are we floating?
No, you're hallucinating. [/sarcasm] Of course we're floating! It's Tetha!
[Groan. One can just hear the epic facepalm here before the comm shuts off]
Yeah, talk away.

At least he smiles when Sabine pulls up, though he eyes the Denali curiously at the same time.]
That's... quite a large vehicle, Major. Thank you for coming to get me.
no subject
You're welcome, sir, and Greg called it a Sport Utility Vehicle. It's really convenient.
no subject
Thank you.
[Not exactly the most ideal way to get clean, but he can worry about that later.]
It's massive... I'm surprised you an drive it so easily.
no subject
It was hard to get adjusted to the whole thing, since I'm used to traveling in trains, foot, or by horse and buggy, but I like driving and riding around in it.
I also brought you a change of clothes, sir.
no subject
[Still talking, he dumps the water on his hair, trying to shake out some of the dried gunk that got in there]
I take it this a vehicle from your boyfriend's world then?
no subject
[ Sabine wonders if she should help him out. Damn it for me being incredibly loyal and not acting without orders in front of my superiors. ]
It is.
no subject
Well, it's impressive, I'll say that much about it.
no subject
And it's one sweet ride, too.
no subject
[That gets an eyebrow, but he shrugs and takes his shirt off, changing in to the one she brought for him.]
Why would any world have something as horrible as 'Putrid Ruins'...
Hey, some natives live there. Different strokes for different folks, chief.
no subject
[ Sabine keeps her position, looking around for anyone that may come and harm her commanding officer. ]
There's also a place that rivals Drachma's frigid temperatures called Meria here, sir.
no subject
[He smiles a bit. Apparently he finds it endearing that she's picking up sayings from Greg.]
... I find that hard to believe, but I'm sure I'll be subjected to a tour sooner or later.
no subject
[ At Roy's next line, Sabine lets out a soft heh, followed by a little giggling. ]
I'll be your escort, then.
no subject
Sounds like a plan on both accounts. Now, I do believe Greg was needing a ride, too. We should probably go get him.
no subject
... they're from Greg's world, before you ask.
no subject
I... take it that's the 'future children' scenario Miss Izumi mentioned to me...
Well, I suppose a congratulations are in order either way. It's not often many of us military types get to go off and have a family.
no subject
Thank you, sir, and they're from the future for me where I'm reborn in Greg's world, and am a very accomplished biochemist. Hee, I pretty much do the same thing that I'm doing now, only that I help catch criminals using evidence.
[ Oh, yeah. She's happy. ]
no subject
[Roy grins, and Havoc scoffs, having finished a cigarette in the time they've taken]
We gonna stand around here gabbin' about it or go pick up this boyfriend of yours sometime before the next millennium?
Ah... I suppose Havoc's right. We should probably go.
no subject
After that's done, she guides Roy to the passenger side seat, opening up the door for him. ]
After you, sir.
no subject
I find it quite funny, Havoc. [Roy snickers at his partner, who promptly sulks and follows after Roy gets inside the Denali] Thank you, Major.
no subject
[ She closes the door and then walks over to the driver's side, opening the door and getting inside. Shutting the door, she puts on her seatbelt and starts the car up. There's old time music playing on the radio, something that Sabine's finding she enjoys. Taking the car out of park, she starts to drive towards the nearest lightpost for Neon City, getting her communicator ready at the same time. ]
no subject
Is this huge thing really going to be able to go through that?
no subject
[ And to illustrate her point, she takes the D-Comm in one hand, the other on the steering wheel. Putting her foot on the gas, the Denali starts to accelerate as Sabine presses a button. Soon enough, the Denali's engulfed in a bright beam of light and they arrive in Neon City. ]
no subject
The look on your face! Priceless!
no subject
[ Sabine glances at him, but still keeps driving onward to the hospital. ]
no subject
I-I'm okay... warn me next time, Major...
